Brewing Up are appealing for five super strong men and women to help steer their giant kettle around parade routes at four festivals and carnivals across the South East this summer, including the Mayor’s Thames Festival in London on 11th September and Northampton Carnival on 11th June. More charity events might be added if the kettle is called upon to provide emergency tea!
The award winning Brewing Up touring show is an extravagant musical and visual experiment that celebrates our nation’s great tea drinking obsession through carnival arts.
Despite being gifted with elegance and grace, their pantomime style dancing tea cups have the combined power of medium strength builder’s tea! Without assistance from musclely local residents the tottering Tea Cups are sure to entertain the crowds in ways they never intended.
People with bulging biceps will have the chance to flex their muscles and help a local carnival arts company to take their show on tour. All transport to events will be included and there will be a rehearsal on 4th June. If you would like to join their crew, receive free admission to festivals and don’t mind being called “The Muscle” contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 079803 39844. www.festiveroad.org.uk
